WHAT DOES RZ STAND FOR? WHEN WAS RZ FOUNDED?

RZ are the initials of Rainer Zubrod, CEO of RZ Medizintechnik. He founded the company in 1995 and runs it to this day with his family. To find more information, please click here.

DOES RZ SUPPLY COMPONENTS ALL AROUND THE WORLD AND HOW CAN I FIND MY POINT OF CONTACT

Yes, RZ delivers components around the globe. Here is an overview of countries with their responsible contacts.If you visit our homepage as a purchaser from a hospital, or as a medical practitioner, your Area Manager will direct you to a local specialist retailer.

HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?

As a specialist retailer, you can order directly from RZ Medizintechnik by fax, e-mail or over the phone.
Since medical products are governed by specific national registration procedures and specific installation requirements, as a purchaser for a hospital, or as a doctor, you can only purchase goods from your local specialist retailer.

HOW CAN I RETURN MY GOODS?

Since all RZ products are high-quality medical products covered by a special returns process, we ask you to use our Returns form when sending goods back to us. Once you have filled in the form, you will be allocated a number that you should attach to your parcel. You will find precise instructions and the Returns form here.

HOW LONG IS THE STANDARD WARRANTY PERIOD FOR RZ PRODUCTS?

RZ Medizintechnik has a standard warranty period of 2 years. This does not cover handling errors, misuse and, of course, abrasive wear.

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY?

There is no minimum order quantity. For custom-made items, this depends upon the product and the type of instrument. Please let us know which article is involved, and we shall send you more precise information.

DOES RZ HAVE ALL THE CERTIFICATES IT REQUIRES? DOES RZ HAVE CE MARKING? WHO IS THE NAMED BODY FOR RZ?

Naturally, all of our products carry a CE mark. DQS Medizinprodukte GmbH is the Named Body for RZ. You will find our certificates here.

HOW DO RZ PRICE LEVELS COMPARE TO OTHERS?

RZ Medizintechnik offers transparent pricing for its medical technology products. Regular internal and external quality assurance and continuous internal checks guarantee you quality products to the highest standard at a fair price. We consider it to be our job to engage with our customers in a cost-conscious manner.

CAN RZ APPLY OUR OWN NOMENCLATURE TO INSTRUMENTS?

If you wish to use RZ as an OEM manufacturer, it is possible to send out products with your own company name, or entirely without laser lettering.

Every year, we attend ARAB HEALTH, FIME, MEDICA and ZDRAVOOCHRANENIJE. You may also encounter us at a large number of trade conferences. You will find further information here.

WHERE IS MY SHIPMENT?

Every package that we send out has a shipment tracking number which enables you at any time to find out where your package currently is. This gets you to the relevant link.

WHICH FREIGHT FORWARDING COMPANIES DOES RZ USE TO SEND PACKAGES?

We can ship your goods with any freight forwarding company of your choice. The most common of these are DPD, FedEx, DHL, UPS and RIM Logistics.

HOW CAN I INSTALL THE RZ APP?

Look for the RZ App in the Apple Store or in the Google Play Store and follow the instructions to install the application.

WHICH PRODUCTS DOES RZ OFFER?

RZ offers you products from virtually every sector of medical technology. Our product range includes more than 15,000 instruments in the open surgery sector, sub-divided into General Surgery, ENT, Neuro Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Thorax and Intestinal Surgery, Ophthamology and Spinal Column Surgery. In the endoscopy sector, we can provide you with instruments for laparoscopy, arthroscopy, urology, hysteroscopy, the ENT sector as well as spinal column endoscopy and plastic surgery. In addition, we have medical appliances such as camera systems, LED and xenon light sources as well as insufflators and pumps.

WHICH MATERIALS DOES RZ USE?

We always use the best possible material for every product to satisfy the medical as well as the regulatory requirements. We base our work on DIN standards and on the experience of our highly skilled and experienced production employees. Our modern range of machines enables us to process all German grades of stainless steel, titanium, titanium alloys, aluminum and plastics.

ARE THERE OPERATING MANUALS FOR RZ PRODUCTS?

Yes, because in our view operating manuals and user instructions are an integral component of every product, and they merit the same attention to detail as the product itself. You will find all of the above kinds of document here .

WHAT MAINS VOLTAGE IS NEEDED FOR RZ APPLIANCES?

We use world power units, so these operate at 100-240V, 50/60 Hz.

DOES RZ OFFER COMPLETE SET PROPOSALS?

We offer you different set proposals for virtually all areas. You will find many of these at the front or back of our catalogs and on our website, arranged under the individual product sectors. If you need further sets, please do not hesitate to contact us. We shall be pleased to compile an appropriate set for you.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN QUOTATIONS FOR REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR?

We have a specific replacement offer for lenses from every company. For this, please let us know which model is involved and we shall put together a quotation for you as quickly as possible. In addition, we can also offer to replace instruments and appliances for you, and to repair all products from any company on request.

HOW LONG DOES A REPAIR USUALLY TAKE?

Normally, a lens repair takes between one and two weeks. Repairs to other instruments may take different lengths of time – depending primarily on the extent of damage.
